Petty people

A very small person has sucked up most of my morning. Why do people insist on turning trivial matters into indictments of character? How does a person allow him or herself to become so small and paltry?

God help me – don’t they see they’re wasting their precious time on things that are inconsequential? Actually – they’re wasting their time and, more importantly, mine.

I want to laugh, but petty people just make me so angry.
